Hi ladies,

Those of you who are subscribe to our newsletter already got the first word about our new Fall Collection.

It’s getting chilly out and it is the perfect timing to start planning your fall attire.  We have a large variety of designs for you this season, and I would like to tell you a little bit about the ‘behind the scenes’ of my design process and about what you can already find in our store.

A few months back, I moved into a new studio, it was approximately 10 years after I graduated Textile design school, and 8 years after I started my beloved brand Duende Fashion, and as my brand was growing at a rapid pace, I felt like I needed a bigger studio. A studio move, like any other move, entails packing and unpacking and a constant ‘blast from the past’ moments, just on the forms of materials, small knitting experiments and sketches. This was the inspiration for my fall collection.

In the upcoming collection you can find new takes on many of our classic loved styles, like our leggings and our loose pants and some of our shirts alongside other newer styles from the same group of designed basics we launched this summer, but with a fall appeal, in fantastic fabrics and colors such as our soft striped cashmere and our jersey in fall earth tone colors mustard, navy, redwood and olive.

Coming up later this season, some fashionable designs with a new approach, a group of knitted alpaca wool braided styles, with chunky yet delicate braids, and another group of knits with “holes” created on purpose for a unique cooler effortless look, knitted from a blend of viscose mohair and silk. The warmer yarn blends make these designs great for winter, as they are warm and fuzzy yet lightweight and comfortable.

The last group will be a big fashion statement Duende style. A limited edition woven knit I developed with colorful fringe. This technique is very time consuming and requires years of experience on the knitting machine as well as a lot of patience… Knitted from a viscose and linen blend, with a mix of different colorful threads from my own collection, these are dramatic ‘fashion statement’ pieces, for the bold and the beautiful.
